Lily 'orange'

Lilies are herbaceous plants and are often used as ornamental flowers, especially in the northern hemisphere, where you also can find them in the wild. Lilies grow from a bulb and usually produce striking blossoms.


Foxglove flowers (Digitalis) are part of the family of Plantaginaceae and can be found both in the wild, but also as ornamental plant in gardens. These flowers contain substances used to create medicine.

Grape Hyazinth

Grape Hyazinth flowers (Genus: Muscari) are part of the family of Asparagceae and originate from Eurasia. Nowadays they can be found almost world wide. Because of the beautiful blossoms these flowers have become very popular amongst gardeners.

Winter aconite

Winter aconite (Eranthis) belongs to the buttercup plants. You can find them in many parts of the world, both as wild growing plant and also as ornamental flower.
Eranthis is one of the first flowers of the year, often starts to bloom in January or February.


Hydrangea, also called Hortensia, is a flowering shrub native to southern and eastern Asia and also to north and south America. They are often used as ornamental shrub, also in Europe, because of the dense foliage and the colourful blossoms.
